CBORD - How to remotely unlock and lock doors using Door Viewer feature
How do I unlock and lock doors from CBORD?
This process can be completed in 9 steps

STEP 1. Login to Cbord program
webpage: https://cbordweb.millersville.edu/login/cas.php
STEP 2. Access Door Viewer
On the left screen Menu, click "Access", click "Door Viewer".
STEP 3. Navigating Door Viewer:
Above the building/door graphics is the navigation for the Door Viewer area.
- Green left and right ARROWS move you forward and backward between screens. (If an arrow is Grey, it means that you cannot move that direction.)
- Blue "up" ARROW will take you to the parent Location Group of the current location group or doors. (The "up" ARROW is displayed as Grey in this graphic because you are at the top most Location Group)
- The HOUSE icon in the menu will take you back to the "Home" location Group.
- The Gold STAR will display all doors marked as favorites
- The Blue "Circle" ARROW will refresh the current screen.
- The search box will search all building and door names
INFORMATION: Identify building Location Groups:
The color of the building graphic indicates any problems with doors within that location group
- Green = Everything Fine, Grey = Doors are offline, Yellow = only some of the doors are offline
- Each building graphically displayed shows the location assigned.
- Doors are organized into Location Groups shown using a building graphic.
STEP 5. Accessing Door inside a building:
(a) Clicking on any building will display the doors inside that Location group
(b) You can test accessing a building by clicking on the "Z Squadron Test" building
(c) Graphic shows the door inside the "Z Squadron Test" building
(d) Doors are displayed using a door and lock graphic.
The color of the graphics indicates if there is a problem with a door. Green = Doors Online, Yellow = Doors Offline.
Remote Door Commands
A door can be locked and unlocked from online Door Viewer
STEP 6. Click on a Location Group (i.e. Univ Buildings Access, then click on the buildings, i.e. VPAC). Click the door to display the options for opening, unlocking or locking a door.
** WARNING about Unlocking doors remotely... if a locking schedule is not applied to a door, the unlock command can leave a door unlocked forever.**
STEP 7. Unlocking a door.
(a) If a door is locked, you can send an "OPEN" command, which will unlock the door for 8 seconds.
(b) If a door is locked and you send an "UNLOCK "command, it will be unlocked until a "LOCK" command is sent manually or through a schedule.
** WARNING about Unlocking doors remotely... if a locking schedule is not applied to a door, the unlock command can leave a door unlocked forever.**
OPTIONS: Emergency Mode
(a) Placing a door in "Emergency Mode" will lock the door and restrict access to only Patron Groups who have the "Emergency Use" flag set.
(b) Clearing "Emergency Mode" will return the door to its scheduled state.
OPTIONS: Favorites
(a) A door in any state of open, unlocked, and/or locked can selected as a Favorite.
(b) Selecting the Star on a door will add it to the Favorites
