Turnitin functionality has been restored. Turnitin identified and corrected an issue on their servers that had erroneously blocked access to Turnitin OriginalityCheck and GradeMark from all users at several PASSHE universities, Millersville included.

Further information:

On the morning of Friday, 11 March 2011, all attempts to use Turnitin OriginalityCheck or GradeMark were rejected by Turnitin's servers, which displayed an "account expired" warning message in place of the normal Turnitin application screens. As Millersville's Turnitin licenses are still valid, Information Technologies staff worked with PASSHE and Turnitin staff to resolve the issue. All Turnitin OriginalityCheck and GradeMark functionality was restored by early in the afternoon on the same day.
