How do I pair a course with McGraw-Hill Connect?

After you have added the McGraw-Hill Connect widget to your course's homepage:

  1. Go to the course homepage.
  2. Locate the McGraw-Hill Connect widget.

  3. If the widget contains a message warning that McGraw-Hill is "trying to access your information":
    1. Check the box for "Do not ask me again for this application".
    2. Click the Continue button.
  4. Click the Begin button in the widget.
  5. In the "Welcome to Connect" window that opens, click the Continue button.
  6. In the "Pair your course with Connect" window:
    • If you do not have a Connect account yet:
      1. Click the "Register for a Connect account" link.
    • If you do have a connect account already:
      1. In the Email Address box, type the email address you used to set up your Connect account.
      2. In the Password box, type the password you used for your Connect account.

        Your McGraw-Hill Connect account is not the same as your Millersville account. Therefore, your Connect username and password are not synchronized with, and may be different from, your standard Millersville username and password.


      3. Click the Sign In button.
      4. Pair your D2L course with your Connect course:
        • If you have not created a Connect course yet:
          1. Click the bubble for "A section in a new Connect course".
        • If you have a Connect course already:
          1. Click the bubble for "A section in an existing Connect course".
          2. Click the Continue button.
          3. Locate the Connect section you wish to pair with your D2L course.
          4. Select that Connect section.
          5. Click the Save button.
  7. Finish by either:
    • Returning to your D2L course by clicking the "Return to <your D2L course's name>" link.
    • Going to your Connect course by clicking the "go to section home page" link.
