D2L

D2L is the D2L Brightspace Learning Environment customized for Millersville University. D2L provides a centralized, robust, and secure solution for classes.

Turnitin

Turnitin provide tools for improving writing. Feedback Studio is integrated with D2L. Draft Coach is integrated with Word in Microsoft365.

Microsoft365

Microsoft 365—also known as Office 365: includes Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web applications, is available for all Millersville University through an education license agreement.

Note

Using Microsoft 365 is best utilized in a web-browser (Edge or Chrome preferred). Users can also download desktop applications, sign-in with Millersville credentials, and use those as well, sometimes with more available features. If you are on a Millersville-supervised device, it is likely that saved files on your computer (Word docs, Excel Spreadsheets, etc.) will 'sync' and create a copy of the file if you want to access it through the web. 


Splashtop

Splashtop is an application that allows instructors annotate and share content via a variety of mobile devices.

GoReact

GoReact is integrated with D2L to provide tools for video-based assignments.

iClicker

iClicker (previously stylized as "i>clicker") is a classroom response system. iClicker allows all the students in a classroom to answer questions an instructor poses during a class session. 

Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

The Creative Cloud Suite includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe applications. These resources are available to Millersville faculty and staff through an educational license with Adobe. 


To install the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite on your device using your Millersville account, please submit a Help Desk ticket requesting access.

Support

Students also have an opportunity to register for Adobe Creative Cloud access and should complete these steps for access. Student may visit the Digital Learning Studio (DLS) for help with using Creative Cloud Suite for coursework.

Zoom

Zoom is a system available for hosting and participating in online meetings, presentations, and conferences related to synchronous or asynchronous coursework and University interests. All current Millersville University students, faculty, and staff have accounts within the system. Accounts are activated the first time users log in and authenticate into Zoom to manage meetings or enter their personal meeting room. Zoom resides at https://millersville.zoom.us/ and is accessible from any device with internet access.
