I had to make a few minor adjustments to the Data Protector Backups. First, the Friday justincase mail6 mailbox backup had to be aborted because it was running 6 hours for 280 MB of data. Was fearful it would run through the morning and cause problems with our large backups that start at midnight.

The 2 large backups of the majority of our servers was significantly enlarged after I did an audit and added approximately 8 servers to Data Protector. With the additional servers added the durations of the backups are getting pretty long.

ServerA ran from midnight Saturday morning to 6 a.m. Sunday morning. - 30 hours.

ServerB ran from midnight Saturday morning to 3 a.m. Sunday morning - 27 hours.

But they worked.

I noted that when the mugen2 tape backup ran, it did not split the load between 2 tape drives. Instead it sent all the backups, 1.5 TB of data, to one tape drive. Seeing this would take 2x as long as using two drives, I aborted the backup and split the job into 2 backups mugen2-A and B. Worked much better.
