What are master courses?
Master courses are optional, but useful, spaces within D2L Brightspace. You may use master courses to build, update, and redesign your D2L courses. Then, for the start of each new term, you can copy from your master courses to your regular, teaching courses.
You can have a separate master course for each course you teach (e.g. ABCD 101, ABCD 102, ABCD 345), and if you teach multiple variations of a course (e.g. 15 week ABCD 103 for fall/spring, 5 week ABCD 103 for summer, 7 week ABCD 103 for fall/spring mods), you can have separate master courses for those variations too.
To request one or more master courses, submit a request with the IT Help Desk.
