Two McGraw-Hill Integrations, Two McGraw-Hill Widgets, Too Confusing
Why are there two integrations and two widgets?
While McGraw-Hill continue to support their older, "classic" integration with D2L, in 2017 they additionally made available a new, enhanced, "deep" integration.
For new D2L course offerings, the I&TS team recommend switching to the new, deep integration prior to pairing that D2L course to a Connect section.
The older, classic integration remains in D2L, and remains supported by McGraw-Hill, to maintain D2L-to-McGraw-Hill course pairings in current and past D2L courses.
What's the difference?
- The new, "deep" integration provides an enhanced widget, one giving direct access to Connect resources and tools.
- The new, "deep" integration allows you to push McGraw-Hill materials across into your D2L course so those materials appear right in line with other items in your D2L content.
