Cascade offers the ability to link to anchors within web pages.

An anchor is a term used to define a hyperlink destination inside a document.

Linking to an Internal Page Anchor

The following instructions assumes you have already, or plan to, created an anchor with the page you want to link to. To insert an anchor onto a page, edit the page you would like add an anchor to, click the 'anchor' icon , insert an anchor name.

To link to a page anchor using the 'Insert Link' window,

  1. Follow the Linking to an Internal Link instructions.
  2. Enter the 'Anchor Name' of the anchor within the page you are linking to.
  3. Click the 'Insert/Update'.

Linking to an External Page Anchor

The following instructions assumes the external page you are about to link to contains the anchor name you are using.

To link to a page anchor using the 'Insert Link' window,

  1. Follow the Linking to an External Link instructions.
  2. Enter the 'URL' of the external page, followed by '#' and the anchor name.
  3. Click the 'Insert/Update'.
