To upload and insert an image using the 'Insert Image' window:

  1. In the WYSIWYG component, place your cursor at the point where you want to insert the image.
  2. Click the 'Insert Image icon in the toolbar. The 'Insert/edit image' window will open.
  3. Click the 'Choose File' icon to open a Cascade file chooser.
  4. At the top of the file chooser, there are three options: Recent, Browse, and Upload. Select the 'Upload' link.
  5. Navigate to and click the folder you want to upload into.
  6. Drag and drop your file into the box surrounded with a dashed line that is labeled 'Drop a file here or choose one from your computer', or click within the box to open your file manager and select a file.
    1. Ensure your file name meets the following conventions:
      1. Lowercase letters only
      2. Word separated by hyphens, not spaces or other special characters
      3. No leading or trailing spaces
  7. Click 'Choose'.
  8. Enter the 'Image Description' for the link. This will provide an additional description about the image that is necessary for accesibility.
  9. Click the 'Ok' button to insert the image.

Cascade will not reduce the file-size or dimensions of the image, you will need to use an image editing application prior to uploading.
