In the beginning of 2010, Web Services introduced a new folder ( _cms ) to help reduce clutter and centralize internal-to-Cascade content that is not published to the live website (i.e. shared content blocks and quick links).
Most of the departments that were migrated into Cascade Server prior to the beginning of 2010 do not currently have the _cms folder. Web Services will begin adding these structural adjustments to older departments starting 11/17/2011.
Who will be affected
Departments that do not already have an _cms folder, or those that were migrated into Cascade Server prior to the beginning of 2010.
How this will affect you
A folder called _cms will be created for internal content. This new folder will contain your department's shared content blocks and quick links folders. See figure on right.
This adjustment will only affect the folder structure of the department's website, no changes will be made to the way you use Cascade Server.
